Welcome Note & Industry Outlook

Dear clients and friends,

As we catapult ourselves into 2024, in our rearview mirror is COVID-19, Remote work, over hiring, and many other HR issues that have been present for the last three years.

We are moving quickly toward accepting AI in the HR landscape, scaling back of the Talent Acquisition Function, the acceptance that a hybrid work model is a clear winner in the RTO debate and that Fractional HR and project-based HR assignments are here to stay. The issue of employees needing to take care of older family members is taking center stage in many conversations.

The year 2023 will be remembered as one where many things changed quickly. HR has to stay ready to embrace change quickly and lead the business with a thoughtful strategic approach on how to rally these efforts in the business.

At Thrive we were at the forefront of this work. We actively worked with companies supporting their efforts and coaching them on how to adapt to these new environments. We learned this year that being able to hit a curve and quickly accelerate through it is a key attribute for successful HR departments and organizations.

We look forward to working with you again this year to support what 2024 puts in front of us.
